"Mobis Magic"

In collaboration with Korean agency Border X, Tiger House Films created a series of funny and creative car commercials for tech company Hyundai Mobis. Shot over two days in Los Angeles, part of the production took place on a volume stage using XR technology, which allowed us to simulate a car process trailer and create magical, larger-than-life moments to showcase Mobis’s cutting-edge automotive tech in a comedic, attention-grabbing way.

The spots brought futuristic features to life on screen, including mood-centric ambient lighting that shifted with the passenger’s “mood”, crab-walking parking wheels that turned a full 90 degrees for impossible parallel parks, and a holographic dashboard projected onto the inside of the windshield. Combining the XR stage work with practical shooting on a real DTLA street grounded the fantastical tech moments in a tangible, real-world setting, making for a commercial production that was as fun to watch as it was a blast to work on.
