"The Atomic Way"

This video game commercial marks our second collaboration with Focus Entertainment, this time to shoot a promo for their release Atomic Heart. The production centered on an empty warehouse space in DTLA that our team transformed from a blank shell into the gritty, retro-futuristic world of the game, working hand in hand with practical SFX teams to bring real explosions, foam and physical effects into camera rather than relying fully on post-production tricks.

Combined with slow-motion cinematography, the practical effects gave the spot a visceral, tactile energy that matched the game’s atomic-age aesthetic. The spot stars Jensen Ackles and is directed by Dessil Basmadjian from Focus, offering a cheeky take on Atomic Heart’s release landing alongside Hogwarts Legacy.
