A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of producing an celebrity video production in Los Angeles with the iconic Jane Fonda x Nalleli Cobo for Christie’s at the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills.

Our video production team in Los Angeles was contacted by Christie’s to film an event entitled Art For A Safe And Healthy California, which was a star studded evening with a benefit exhibition and auction presented by Jane Fonda, Gagosian, and Christie’s to support Campaign for a Safe and Healthy California.

Some artworks were donated by artists including Charles Gaines, Frank Gehry, Alex Israel, Nathaniel Mary Quinn, Catherine Opie, Christina Quarles, Ed Ruscha, Jonas Wood, among others, will be sold to help the coalition of voters campaigning to stop oil companies attempting to repeal Governor Gavin Newsom’s SB1137 on the November ballot. The bill provides safe setbacks from oil wells for homes, parks, schools, and playgrounds, as well as requirements to make already pumping wells safer.

Our small commercial production team has quite a lot of experience in run and gun situations and this production certainly called for improvisation due to the nature of the schedule and coordination with the gallery. Our gracious producer from Christie’s has great patience as we did our best to get the best production value possible out of this video production in Los Angeles.

Shot on two Alexa Mini’s, this project was certainly a heavy lift for this type of gear however the quality of the images certainly makes up for the bulk of these packages. This was our first time inside Gagosian Gallery and our video production team members were absolutely impressed by the artwork displayed at the gallery and event.

Utilizing cinema gear and lighting, our dynamic and seasoned team will be creating future forward and luxury motion / still campaigns both with talent and product tabletop for brands. Our capabilities include pre-production and conceptualization, art / set design and full post production capabilities. Monthly package specifications will vary based on logistics and budget.

We will be utilizing the best cinema and photography gear including a Sisu cinema robot and Red Komodos with cinema lenses / LED lighting. Depending on the client, our goal is to create unique monthly content for use on social media and paid advertising platforms.

Locations will include studios set up for shooting unique content, natural light and set design as well as high tech cyc wall and LED studio (XR Stage) options based on concepts. As 2024 progresses, the emerging evolution of AI in media has become a relevant topic amongst entertainment industry insiders. New AI tools have become available to the world sending tremors through the industry resulting in the Writer’s strike of 2023 and the simultaneous SAG strike that devastated the job market.

AI commercials have already been created (with the help of some VFX) through previously shot footage melted into the algorithm such as this Under Armour commercial  with heavyweight boxing sensation Anthony Joshua. With Open AI’s new Sora AI model set to be released to the public in a few months, the anxiety amongst creatives is at an all time high.

With these new tools come new challenges, however, our view on the subject is that this revolution could open doors to high value production supplementation and potentially create new opportunity for the creation of new media at a high level with a lower price tag. AI video production companies and new forms of media will become prevalent however there is one prediction that we have regarding all of this evolution.

As AI floods the market, our prediction is that all this machine made material will create a vacuum in which the need for human creativity will be reignited and become valuable again. The hope is that this AI transition will be one that benefits the creative community however the hope is that the advanced tools that are becoming available will boost our ultimate capabilities and not create a situation that replaces the industry in it’s entirety.

Our second celebrity commercial production in NYC was a collaboration with Old Spice and PCA, we had the pleasure of shooting another brand spot with actor and comedian Ronny Chieng in New York City as part of the launch of Old Spice’s Total Body Spray.

This second Old Spice campaign was a part of two spots we produced in New York City, this particular commercial spot will air during Super Bowl LVIII and is the debut of Old Spice’s Gentleman’s Total Body Spray. We had a great production crew dynamic with members from our Los Angeles headquarters and local crew in New York City. The concept for this celebrity commercial production was comedic and simple yet required some stunt rigging and particular lighting in the large Brooklyn warehouse our team acquired to double as a yoga studio.

Most of the project was produced remotely from Los Angeles until we set up scouts of locations at which time the producer, director (Clayton Tony Au) and cinematographer (Martin Moody) were all able to fly out early and get the lay of the land / plan the shoot from a logistics perspective.

Ronny Chieng who was our main talent for this shoot, is a Malaysian comedian and actor. He is currently a senior correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. His talented supporting cast consisted of great actors from NY and LA, Nicole Fong, Kiarra Hamagami Godberg and Alex Wong.

We are very fortunate to have Old Spice / PCA as clients, our history with the latter has spanned over 8 years. Our Los Angeles production team hopes to continue our relationship with this brand for many campaigns to come.

Our video game commercial production company in Los Angeles has collaborated with the Hoyoverse game Genshin Impact to create two online commercial spots showcasing different characters including Paimon and a brand new character, Navia. As an open-world action RPG video game. Genshin Impact is developed and published by Chinese studio miHoYo. In the game, players control a number of party members, each with different abilities, weapons, gear, and personalities. The combat plays out in real time, allowing players to utilize ranged, melee, and dynamic elemental attacks against an array of enemies across the game’s exciting open world and dungeons.

Our video game commercial production was shot in Los Angeles in two separate locations over the course of a single day. The production team brought all of their professional capabilities to the shoot, allowing us to move as quickly as possible all while communicating remotely with the client via video link. With over 15 years of experience in the commercial production industry, Tiger house Films was able to tap into our vast network of creative contacts to execute this project.

From a technical prospective, our commercial production team utilized the Sony Venice camera with an array of LED and HMI lighting to achieve the dynamic look created in the two video game spots our actors were able to pull of some creative lines all while keeping the concepts intact. Our creative team had a great time working with the team at Hoyoverse and look forward to many more collaborations in the future.

Our Los Angeles video production team was contacted by IMAX and DTS parent company XPeri to produce a feature film promo video for the Puss In Boots The Last Wish by Dreamworks Entertainment. This particular production was an episode of DTS Craft Masters. In the content of the video, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish Director Joel Crawford and other key creative contributors are interviewed. They share  how DTS:X helped deliver a movie that’s as unique sonically as it is visually.

Our team learned quite a bit while filming this feature film promo video including how sound and music create an immersive environment for the film’s audience. Certain auditory cues such as the “Wolf’s Whistle” in the film indicated danger nearby, as well as the absence of sound being another tool the filmmakers utilized to create an effect of tension in the storyline.

The experience shooting this project was a great one, our video production team filmed on the Warner Brothers lot where the film was mixed and screened in a state of the art theater worthy of a studio production. Interviewing the directors and sound team of the film allowed us insight on the collaborative aspect of creating a final feature film product as well. The production team working together in sync is just as important as the skill and technical ability each individual brings to the table.

Our production company hopes to collaborate with Xperi again to film more feature film promotion video productions in the near future.

This online video series production in Los Angeles was produced by Justin Bell Productions for Grey Goose Vodka and directed / DP’d by Tiger House Films’ founder Jason Kent Carpenter. The Grey Goose team brought on two of their professional mixologists Marie Meyers and Joe McCanta to create unique cocktails with their premium Grey Goose Vodka.

Our commercial production team was able to come together and shoot over a single day in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles. Our gear consisted of two Arri Alexa cinema cameras, high quality cinema lenses and LED lighting for the interior studio style setups. Grey Goose wanted two distinctly different looks to separate the making of each of the unique cocktails that were featured in this online video series production.

A challenge we had to face during the creation of this series, was the need to work with existing daylight as the location dictated that we shoot into a corner of the kitchen with a window throughout the day. As we were unable to flag off the existing daylight, we needed to pivot our settings as the sun moved through the morning and afternoon to night. Luckily we had a great team and were able to collaborate to create and efficient set and capture the coverage needed to complete the edits.

We are very fortunate to have Justin Bell Productions and Grey Goose as clients, our collaborations have been very successful and we very lucky to work with such professionals in the commercial production industry. This TV commercial production in Los Angeles was produced by Tiger House Films for Hollywood Park Casino near the brand new Sofi Stadium complex in Inglewood, CA. We partnered with PCA and the commercial was broadcast on television in the Los Angeles, CA Area.

This spot was shot over the course of one day in the brand new facility, The Hollywood Park Casino boasts 125 tables offering both poker and California games. The establishment comprises designated areas for high-stakes players and celebrity poker tournaments. Our goal with this spot was to highlight the diverse patrons that frequent the facility and the ability to enjoy multiple games within the casino.

Our commercial production team brought 13 years of experience producing projects in the Los Angeles area to this project, opting for a quick coverage / high quality lighting approach. Our use of steadicam and high quality cinema lenses as well as professional lighting allowed our commercial production team to create dynamic movement within the modern designs of the casino floor and bar spaces.

In our commercial production company’s second collaboration with Old Spice and PCA, we had the pleasure of shooting a commercial with actor and comedian Ronny Chieng in New York City. This particular spot was a part of the “Men Have Skin Too” Series of online and broadcast Old Spice commercials that will release in 2023 as part of the Asian demographic niche for the brand.

This Old Spice campaign was a part of two spots we produced in New York City, both with the same cast and crew and within the span of a few weeks. New York being the dynamic city that it is, had all the production resources necessary for us to carry out our project smoothly from camera houses to GE and transportation.

Our team was able to utilize on the ground resources in NYC and produce the project remotely from Los Angeles until we set up scouts of locations at which time the producer, director (Clayton Tony Au) and cinematographer (Martin Moody) were all able to fly out early and get the lay of the land / plan the shoot from a logistics perspective. The Tiger House Films team has 13 years of experience executing project from the ground up therefore our ability to produce anywhere in the US and worldwide is a great asset to our clients.

Our main talent Ronny Chieng is a Malaysian comedian and actor. He is currently a senior correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. Our branded and VFX commercial production company in Los Angeles was approached by fashion-forward golf wear and accessory company G/Fore to produce an online VFX commercial campaign for the release of their new G.112 golf shoe ahead of the PGA U.S. Open held in Los Angeles, CA.

In our second collaboration with the brand, the look of the campaign for the G.112 shoe was meant to place the shoe in an environment that invokes a fantastical atmosphere derived from the inspirational design of Alice In Wonderland. Our VFX commercial production team was able to do a photo-realistic scan of the new G.112 shoe and insert the product into a completely 3D environment using cutting edge software used in the video game industry and many corners of the entertainment world.

This novel approach to a project allowed our brand production team in Los Angeles to create a completely custom look and feel to the fashion campaign which gave the final result a very unique quality. We tried too preserve the colorful look and feel of the G/Fore brand while making the imagery itself eye popping and interesting for the online audience.

Our commercial production team worked with VFX house 50 Stars Cinema to create this incredible final product for the G/Fore brand, the VFX artists were able to create the vision set forth by our team and the brand itself.
