Tiger House Films was contacted by Plan C Agency located in Downtown Los Angeles to produce several social media videos for Cathay Bank. As a social media content production company located in Los Angeles, our team was the prefect fit for this production which needed specific content formatting for social media channels.

The target audience for this project was the Chinese American demographic here in the United States. By getting social media video content marketed to this particular group about the benefits of banking with Cathay, the wide reach of internet marketing has allowed for Cathay Bank to see immediate results and benefits regarding exposure of their brand. 

Because Cathay Bank first opened in 1962 in Los Angeles’ Chinatown as the first Chinese-American bank in Southern California, our goal was to teach the history of this brand to new customers, bringing in the next generation of Chinese-American consumers. In 1979 Cathay Bank opened its first branch office in Monterey Park. Its first overseas representative office in Hong Kong was opened in 1985.

Tiger House Films was contacted by Jeremy Buck to hire our creative agency in Los Angeles to produce a live recording video at the famed East West Studios in Hollywood, California.

EastWest Studios has carried  a proud tradition of recording the best of the industry. Music has been recorded for TV shows such as Mad Men, Glee, and The Voice, and films including Selma and Eat, Pray, Love. East West has also been used as a location in the Oscar-winning film La La Land. Many Grammy winning artists have recorded albums there including The Foo Fighter’s Concrete and Gold, Justin Bieber’s Purpose, Marco Antonio Solis’ Gracias Por Estar Aqui, and Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience.

This project by our creative agency in Los Angeles was a collaboration for new music by the Hermosa Beach singer / songwriter Jeremy Buck with legendary artists and musicians who have worked with Prince, Elvis and  Eric Clapton to name a few. Our creative agency came in with a team that included cinematographer Luke Hanlein who created some unique and colorful lighting for the video. Our production team created the “one shot look” with coverage on steadicam, pulling focus on the fly and recording long floating coverage takes.

Jeremy Buck is a prolific songwriter and producer, a multi-instrumentalist. He’s performed well over 1000 live shows and continues to explore new avenues in music creativity and production. Our creative agency in Los Angeles has known Jeremy for many years and hope to collaborate again in the future on more music video productions and brand video productions.

Natural skincare brand True Botanicals reached out to our creative advertising agency in Los Angeles through New York Agent Quickframe Inc., to film and edit a series of social media videos for their line of skincare products.

The skincare company based out of San Francisco, has a unique past. After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer, Hillary Peterson (the founder of True Botanicals), channeled her fear and frustration with the beauty industry into research—and a passion for creating pure, potent, and proven products that are good for people and the planet. Her bold vision motivates the entire True Botanicals team: a small but mighty band of (mostly) women based in Northern California. 

Our creative advertising agency in Los Angeles filmed in Downtown LA in a photo loft with beautiful decor and sunlight. Due to the fact that the final output was for social media, our creative advertising team shot vertically on an Arri Alexa mini with an L bracket to flip the camera sideways. Our creative team was able to maximize coverage for the day in order to have several versions of the edit with different products within the same line showcased individually.

Our model for this project was Olga Safari, who has a great energy and was perfect for this client due to her flawless skin. This was our creative agencies third time working with Olga. Our creative coordinator for this project was Luca Buzas, she has worked with us on countless productions over the years and always brings a stellar high end fashion look to our projects.

It was a pleasure to work with True Botanicals on this project and hope to work with them again on another production as a creative advertising agency in Los Angeles.

Our first branded production with Netflix was a series of promotional materials surrounding their original show “The Society” which debuted on their digital platform June of 2019.

Since our first brand video series project with Netflix, our digital agency in Los Angeles has produced over 10 episodes of their “What To Watch On Netflix” series, streaming on their social media platforms. This series is hosted by Jared Wieselman who works at the Netflix offices and covers the new shows currently streaming on the digital platform.

The informational and fun delivery of Jared allows for viewers to see what they have been missing on Netflix and perhaps discover new shows that they may have missed in the past due to the vast variety of narrative media available on the biggest streaming platform in the world.

This branded series production is filmed at Sunset Bronson Studios on the Netflix campus in the center of Hollywood. In another collaboration with DTLA Agency Plan C, our creative agency in Los Angeles produced another commercial for New York Life Insurance specifically targeting the Asian American market. The concept for this creative commercial spot was conceived by director Tony Au of Plan C. 

The plot of this branded media revolves around an affluent Asian American family who wants the best for their daughter. She tries activities such as piano and violin (very popular culturally relevant activities in Asian American communities across the country) but can’t quite find her niche. She finally tries something more athletic, ice skating, and realizes her passion for the sport.

Our creative agency in Los Angeles shot this commercial in several locations including the Pasadena Ice Skating Center, a New York Life Insurance branch office, as well as a beautiful home in the Hollywood Hills. Our talent consisted of very talented actors and actresses, as well as a crew technically capable of shooting a commercial on ice.

Our schedule for this creative commercial was slightly difficult as we had to do an overnight due to the Pasadena Ice Skating Center’s schedule. The crew for our creative agency in Los Angeles is top notch and made the difficult situation into a very smooth and precise shoot that went off without a hitch. 

As always, our creative team enjoys every production we are hired to shoot with New York Life and Plan C and hope to work with these clients again in the very near future.

An international sunglasses brand reached out to our advertising agency in Los Angeles from Sweden to create a commercial for their new line of bone-conduction bluetooth audio eyewear. Their goal was to create lots of excitement around the new product with a Venice Beach-themed commercial with a colorful Instagram aesthetic.

Our advertising agency in Los Angeles hired instagram models and skaters to act and model in this high energy production centered around the Venice Beach culture. Shot in conjunction with brand testimonials on the Venice boardwalk and a campaign style photoshoot, our commercial production included skating, basketball, a pool party and focused vfx on the groundbreaking technology of the product.

The brand is a new brand utilizing bone conduction audio technology to listen to your favorite music and take phone calls via Siri via wireless bluetooth. With bone conduction headphones perceptions of the outside world are not blocked.  Bone conduction allows the wearer to hear with open ears to the surroundings. Sound is transmitted through the skull into inner ear rather than through the air, therefore the need for traditional earbuds had been eradicated.

With this new technology, our job as an advertising agency in Los Angeles was to focus on keeping the product vibe cool but also translating the technical details of the product and introducing this new concept to a broad audience. The challenge was well worth it and we are happy to say our client was impressed with the results of our commercial production.

1) The first thing that we advise brand partners to do is to view the creative agency’s showreel. Viewing a creative agencies work also allows the brand to visualize if a particular creative team is capable of matching the quality of what they are trying to achieve in their campaign. 

2) Secondly, the brand should set up a phone conversation with the agency head. This conversation will give the brand an idea of how easy it is to work with a particular creative team. The brand should ask questions like; what is your usual budget range? What similar brands have your worked with in the past? Do you have any specialties as a creative agency Los Angeles?

With the release of their brand new show “The Society”, Netflix approached Tiger House Films to produce their promotional content for the web and social media platforms. Our brand video production company partnered with the Netflix team to create original content with the star cast of “The Society” to answer questions from the internet about season 1 of the show.

Our brand video production company acquired Netflix as a client due to the fact that many of our commercials and brand videos in the past matched their high standard of production value. The workflow during this project was very fast and demanding which allowed us to bring our brand video production and creation skills to the table. 

The new show on Netflix “The Society” is about Busloads of Connecticut high school students headed off for an extended camping trip, but a storm forces them to return home. Upon their return, the teens realize that all of the town’s adults are gone in this modern take on “Lord of the Flies.”  The brand videos we produced for the promotion of the show allowed the cast members to interact with questions from the internet and with each other.

We hope to be able to work with Netflix again on brand video and narrative projects in the future.

Our branded content production team consisted of two cameras and a sound person to get the needed coverage for their final video release. 

With celebrity talent walking the orange carpet, our branded video production had to be top notch. The client for this production, Contently, connected us with our host from Cox Communications, Maria Esposito very early on to go through the production game plan. As she prepared the questions, our brand video production team was able to position themselves in a prime location on the carpet and get the overall event coverage as well as the prime angles on talent.

Our unique flexibility as a branded content agency and production company in Los Angeles allows us to attract many diverse clients. An array of brands and agencies seek us out to produce projects from fashion to viral videos here in Los Angeles and across the country. As a boutique production company in Los Angeles, Tiger House Films specializes in crafting specialty commercial productions for brands looking to market their products in the modern age of social media and internet marketing. 

Our boutique production company has partnered with New York agency Quickframe to create projects for San Francisco based Birdies Slippers consisting of a photo and video campaign for their new Birdies Bridal Collection in Spring / Summer of 2019. This is our second series of photo video productions for the Birdies website and for their paid online advertisements showing on Instagram and Facebook.

From the beginning Birdies was seeking a boutique production company in Los Angeles for their production. Our flexibility and creative input was the perfect match for their needs. This particular campaign consisted of a concept re-creating the moments before and after a wedding ceremony with three agency models and a mother of the bride character. Our creative coordinator Luca Buzas handled the wardrobe, hair and makeup as well as part of the production design in the campaign.

Directed and shot by Tiger House Films founder Jason Kent Carpenter, the team for this fashion commercial production was lean and talented. Our commercial crew consisted of 12 people total.

This fashion commercial campaign was shot in a four bedroom suite at the historic Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica.  Inspired by the grand villas on the Mediterranean in Italy, Casa Del Mar was the perfect back drop to our high end commercial campaign with Birdies Slippers.
