About This Fashion Video Production:

Los Angeles Production Company Tiger House Films has teamed with women’s fashion designer Emily Daccarett to create a conceptual narrative fashion video production showcasing her latest designs in women’s clothing. The artistic fashion video concept will be screened and showcased at her L.A. fashion week show this coming October. Emily is a graduate of a Parisian fashion school, the prestigious Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, founded in 1928. The Federation in which the school lives, is responsible for setting the dates and location of the French fashion weeks. It also establishes industry standards on quality and on the use of the word “haute couture”.

Tiger House Films has contracted American Film Institute graduate and cinematographer Sara Ross-Samko as well as Director and Cinematographer Nicola Pizzi to spearhead the creative aspects of this fashion video production. During the pre-production process, our team has been working closely with Emily to create a video that not only showcases her fashion but also tells a story inspired by the real-life love between French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg and English actress, Jane Birkin.

During our location scout to a 1960’s style diner and motel, our LA production team had the privilege to view and take photos of some very rare vintage American cars from the 50’s and 60’s as well as a genuine 60’s era diner location that our fashion video production team will be utilizing as an interior and exterior location for the shoot. Professional and creative productions such as this are the reason Tiger House Films has become a proven leader not only in commercial production, but also in the artistic and creative realm of the entertainment industry.

Our LA production team is looking forward to the collaboration between our passion for film and Emily’s talent in creating dresses for the fashion world. Principal photography on this narrative fashion video production will begin in early September 2013.

The 2013 Tiger House Films Los Angeles Film and Television Production Company Reel contains a compilation of projects produced by our company. These projects include Narrative Films, Television Productions, Music Videos, Commercials and Live Performances and Web Videos. Every one of these projects was unique and presented different challenges but in the end our results were amazing and the process was incredibly enjoyable for everyone on the film crew.

Whether we are in a studio shooting a green screen commercial, at a music venue recording a live performance, or on location shooting a film, our film and television production company’s ability to adapt to every set environment allows us to achieve the most professional and dynamic results.  The Tiger House Films team has extensive real-life experience in the industry. This experience allows us to troubleshoot any situation that may (and most certainly will) arise during any stage of film or television production. Our Los Angeles production company is unique in the sense that we as a team bring an artistic film making approach to all of our projects. Above is the trailer for Agent 6 a film production by film and television production company Tiger House Films directed by Jason Kent Carpenter. Agent 6 is an award winning film, garnering 9 film festival awards and entry into dozens of international film festivals.

Film Premise: After completing a secret mission for his agency, an agent must make the decision between delivering the enemy device to home base or to go back and save the girl he left behind.

Filmmaker Jason Kent Carpenter of Hermosa Beach, California continues his winning streak at various Los Angeles film festivals with his second film production entitled Agent 6 . The Tiger House Films team came together to create this visually stunning action film with a score from Mark Griskey and cinematography by Nicola Pizzi.

Agent 6 was selected as the First Place Winner in the short film category at the LA New Wave International Film Fest in November 2011. The film was declared the Best Action Short at the Beverly Hills Film, T.V. & New Media Festival in October. It also won the Special Jury Prize at the Action/Cut Short Film Competition in September.

Most Recently this film production has won Best Action Short at Firstglance Film Fest Hollywood and the Golden Ace Award at the 2012 Las Vegas Film Festival. It has also been selected to screen at over eleven film festivals in total since beginning festival circuit submissions. The film was licensed for distribution at the HollyShorts festival by Shorts International, the largest short film distribution company in the world.

Agent 6 tells the story of a covert secret agent who completes his mission, only to return to enemy territory in hopes of rescuing a woman in danger. Shot in historic downtown Los Angeles, the films visuals feature sweeping views of LA’s architectural landscape and roadways. The film stars French actor Julien Wojta, a trained mixed-martial-arts fighter who helped coordinate combat scenes in the film. The film co-stars Katie Wee, who previously had a role in the feature film Spring Breakdown starring Saturday Night Live alumni Rachel Dratch and Amy Poehler.

For music, writer/director Jason Kent Carpenter partnered with Mark Griskey. Griskey composed original music for the official preview trailer of recent Academy Award Best Picture Winner The King’s Speech. Griskey’s music has also been featured on Multiple Star Wars Video Games, End Credits for The Book Of Eli, and The Incredible Hulk, among many others.

Film production company Tiger House Films showcases a period action film project Dark Roads, written and directed by Tiger House Films founder Jason Kent Carpenter. Set in the 1970’s, Dark Roads tells the story of Paul Sansone, a mob recruit who perilously falls in love with a Russian woman trafficked for the sex trade. The film debuted at Young Cuts film festival In Montreal and was also screened in LA and New York as an official selection at the Bel-Air & Williamsburg International film festivals among others. Dark Roads employed professional stuntmen such as Eric Marche (known for work on big budget films such as Transformers), the special effects company Synapse FX, and armorers from ISS Prophouse who handled live ammunition from vintage handguns and a tommy gun.

Shot with two RED One cameras, the majority of the Dark Roads film production was filmed in the warehouse district of downtown Los Angeles, next to the L.A. river. this area is known for having a gritty urban industrial aesthetic and has been used for many fashion, commercial, television shoots and featured in films such as Chinatown (1974) and Grease (1978).

“Dark Roads” received formal distribution through the film Distributor Indie Media Entertainment (IME), one of the first independent film distributors to bring video-on-demand rentals to mobile devices like the iPhone and iPad. Indie Media Entertainment discovered “Dark Roads” in the marketplace at the Palm Springs film festival and licensed the film.

Tiger House Films is happy to announce that Jason Kent Carpenter’s film production “Agent 6”  is now globally live and available for download on iTunes!

Tiger House Film’s secret agent film production is being distributed by the largest short film distributor in the world, Shorts International which is based in London, England. Shorts International has a partnership with Apple to bring the highest quality films to the global community via iTunes as well as their own television network called Shorts TV, which screens high quality short films 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

“Agent 6” is earmarked on Shorts TV for September’s “Secret Agent” Programming to coincide with the James Bond “Skyfall” film release, happening September 2012. While having an incredible festival run, obtaining distribution at the Hollyshorts Festival was icing on the cake for our film. The dedicated crew and cast are the reason for the film’s success.

“Agent 6” has been accepted into the “Las Vegas International Film Festival” in the heart of Las Vegas beginning in July of 2012.  Our film was one of only 39 films selected to screen at the festival from among hundreds of films submitted from over 30 countries around the world.

On Friday, July 20th the festival will kick off the films with their Opening Night Premiere film.  There will be a Red Carpet Arrival with photographers and press in attendance.  The red carpet press line begins at 7:00 pm.

“Agent 6” screens Saturday 6:10pm July 21st at the Las Vegas Hilton Theater, If any of you are in Vegas that weekend please join us and come check it out! The festival will take place July 19-22 at the world famous Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. Top prizes for the Best of Category winners will be announced and presented at the closing night awards ceremony. Jason Kent Carpenter’s action short film “Agent 6” has won the Best Action Short Award at FirstGlance Film Festival Hollywood. The film produced and directed by Carpenter has won a total of seven film festival awards thus far on the festival circuit.

Our experience at FirstGlance was phenomenal, Bill Ostroff the festival director is a very nice person. As soon as we walked on to the lot at Raleigh Studios the atmosphere felt right for a film screening. Agent 6 was screened in a private theater on the lot with many film fans in attendance.

Whenever filmmakers are surrounded by people who love films as much as they do, it gives the festival a certain appeal and that particular atmosphere was present during our screening. Independent filmmakers are still the lifeblood of this business and it was great to bond over our mutual appreciation for this art form during the event.

Tiger House Films is proud to be a part of FirstGlance Film Festival and would like to thank them for running a great festival as well as screening Agent 6 at the Chaplin theater inside Raleigh Studios. The event was a very enjoyable experience for the entire Tiger House Team and thank you for our seventh film festival award!

On opening night of the festival there was a red carpet for filmmakers in front of the Arclight Cinerama Dome across from the Los Angeles Film School. Filmmaker Jason Kent Carpenter was interviewed by Minglemedia TV and other media outlets alongside one of the incredibly talented stars of the film, Katie Wee.

The experience at Hollyshorts was a mixed bag of emotions. During the screening, the projectionist in the booth began to play “Agent 6” from a point in the middle of the film. Luckily our team had a backup blu-ray with us at the time and the film was re-started from the beginning. Although the incident was somewhat embarrassing, it may just have been the reason it caught the attention of the distributor due to projection technicalities causing a bit of a stir.

Overall the festival was a fantastic experience and our team would not have traded it for the world. Thank you Hollyshorts for giving us some great memories to carry with us into the future.
