In one of our several collaborations with Shark Ninja, the Tiger House Films production team created a new TV commercial production for the new Speedstyle Pro Flex Hair Dryer System. This commercial spot highlights the compact nature of the new Shark hair dryer while also integrating VFX to enhance the multiple features of the product in a fun, short and sweet TV spot for the brand.

This TV commercial production project called for several advanced filming techniques including motion control with a robotic arm for repeat motion shots in tight spaces as well as the need for VFX integration with live action. We utilized three talent with different hair types to showcase the versatility of the Spreedstyle Pro Flex, as well as it’s various attachments and accessories.

Our Los Angeles commercial production team was able to put this project together in a short period of time by utilizing our connections with gear houses in the Los Angeles area and talented local crew members. The production was shot over the course of two days in a private home in Calabasas. Our technical production team did an extensive amount of prep when it came to programming shots with the motion control robot and pre-lighting each of the scenes.

Our Director Of Photography Fiorella Occhipinti for this shoot is a specialist when it comes to beauty and fashion shoots and our team was fortunate to work with her crew to create a unique set of shots under challenging conditions. We also teamed up with ARRI cameras who were kind enough to give us an Alexa 35 rig to work with on this shoot.

In our second collaboration with the Shark / Ninja brand, Tiger House Films has had the pleasure of working with Shark/Ninja once more to create a dynamic kitchen appliance commercial production for their newly designed soda machine, the Ninja Thirsti 2.0. Drink System which transforms water into thousands of flavored still and carbonated soda water drinks at the touch of a button. Our commercial team was given just two weeks to produce this project which includes some complex production needs such as production design, motion control and vfx.

As in all kitchen appliance commercial productions, the production design had to be very precise due to the fact that there are plenty of close-up shots that are needed to feature the product and the drinks this particular soda machine produces, all in high definition. Our brand commercial team had the pleasure of working with an incredible drink stylist, David Probasco who was able to create some amazing effects for the probe lens and closeup shots of the drinks.

The location for this kitchen appliance commercial production was a private home in Ladera Heights, the owner of the home is a producer, which aided in the location being the perfect fit for our branded project. Logistically everything fit very well and our creative team / clients were comfortable as well as the aesthetic of the kitchen being an exact fit and look for the design of the product itself.

For this project, our commercial production company worked with a motion control robot, namely the Bolt Jr. which was acquired through the Los Angeles vendor Camera Control. Our repeat motion shots gave this commercial a unique and modern look.
