Our LA / Las Vegas production company was approached by a Swiss TV Show, “26 Minutes” To shoot a series of locations in Las Vegas Nevada for a special episode of their comedic show.

Our production company often works as a creative agency as well as a nuts and bolts production company to help international productions succeed in the United States. This particular production paired us with a few of the most high profile comedians in French Switzerland including Vincent Kucholl and Vincent Veillon.

Shot in a multitude of locations over four days including the famed Bellagio Las Vegas, The Valley Of Fire, The Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas Blvd , a suite at Palms Place and a helicopter over the strip, our work was cut out for us. Having had the experience in permitting and obtaining permissions for difficult locations in the past, our team was able to provide a smooth experience for the international team.

“26 Minutes” is a humorous weekly French-language Swiss television program starring Vincent Kucholl and Vincent Veillon. The show started in 2015 on RTS Un, following their daily radio program, 120 seconds (120’’) from 2011 to 2014 on Couleur 3 (Radio télévision suisse).

The greatest part of working with this Swiss crew was the lightheartedness of their entire team during the course of production. Our Los Angeles / Las Vegas production company felt right at home while working in conjunction with the international team that came overseas to Las Vegas. The humor that helped make the two Vincents so successful in their home country was a sustaining factor during the somewhat tight and intricate scheduling of each scene / location.

This program will air in Switzerland at the FC Scion 2018 Gala and other parts of Europe In March of 2018. We look forward to seeing the final results of our adventure together. We hope to work with the Swiss team from Production 360 again in the very near future.

Los Angeles commercial production company Tiger House Films has produced a series of commercials with the legendary William Shatner for Market Masters Legal. Our creative commercial production team coordinated with an agency on the east coast of the United States to shoot with our crew in Los Angeles.

Our LA commercial production company brought together the gear, location, talented crew and all the production elements necessary for the commercial productions with Mr. Shatner to be a success. As with all our productions featuring a celebrity, we made sure that all accommodations were in place when Mr. Shatner arrived on set.

Our first step to make sure this production ran smoothly was to pre-light for our green screen setup. Our lighting crew arrived early to set the lights along with the camera team and D.P. who tested the framing and exposure on both cameras. The D.I.T. then gave a sample chroma key test on set so the clients were satisfied with the result before the cameras rolled on our main talent.

The Tiger House Films team executed the production flawlessly and wrapped early as a result of proper execution from a well trained team. Mr. Shatner was courteous and polite to our team and was a true professional from having been in the industry for many years. The experience we had with this Los Angeles commercial production was overall very pleasant and the best part of it was that we got to meet Captain Kirk himself.

Shot at Quixote Studios in West Hollywood California, the Tiger House Films Production team produced a three camera primetime television interview showcasing the two stars of “The Goldbergs” as well as Daphne Oz from “The Chew” who was our host for this television production.  Our T.V. production team did an outstanding and professional job keeping within the strict timeline set by the actor’s schedules. As a major part of the interview, we would like to note that our set designer Juliana Rowlands created an authentic American 1980’s look to perfect the environment and theme for this primetime t.v. interview.

“TROPHY WIFE” PRIMETIME TELEVISION INTERVIEW:

Starring Malin Akerman and Bradley Whitford.

This on-location primetime television production took place in a night club in Koreatown for the new ABC Show “Trophy Wife”. Our cinematographer Nicola Pizzi met the challenge of matching the lighting to create an interview environment resembling the karaoke bar in which the two main characters of “Trophy Wife” meet on the show. This T.V. interview consisted of three cameras and our Los Angeles production crew worked seamlessly to bring professional lighting, cameras and set design together to meet a tight primetime television production deadline.

“BACK IN THE GAME” PRIMETIME TELEVISION INTERVIEW:

Starring James Caan.

This primetime T.V. interview shoot features legendary actor James Caan and “Chew” host Carla Hall. Tiger House Films’ television production team scouted many baseball fields in the Los Angeles county area before finding the perfect one in the city of Toluca Lake, CA. This T.V. interview consisted of three cameras and full G&E in an outdoor environment on a very hot summer day. A star Waggon was brought in for Mr. Caan to relax as the crew set up large diffusion and reflectors on the field. Our crew’s ability to adapt and work efficiently in every kind of environment is what allowed us to excel under the extreme conditions for this primetime T.V. production.

“CLINTON KELLY ON THE DISNEY LOT” PRIMETIME T.V. PRODUCTION:

Starring “The Chew” host Clinton Kelly

“The Chew” Host Clinton Kelly introduces each segment of ABC’s primetime special on the back lot of Disney Studios, located in Burbank California. Tiger House Films brought on our union television production crew to shoot a two camera primetime production including teleprompters, dolly with track, and full grip and lighting equipment. This segment of the Primetime special was meant to create a “behind the scenes”, “on the lot” feel as Clinton introduced each portion of the fall preview special.

OUR PRIMETIME TELEVISION PRODUCTION OVERVIEW:

Our primetime television productions for ABC’s “Fall Preview Special” Presented by The Chew consisted of four primetime T.V. shoots over the period of two months. The entire hour long special aired SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 (7:00-8:00 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network and is also available in it’s entirety on ABC.com. Erich Lennig of the Barnaby Saints was chosen by the Recording Academy to be the winner of the professional music video prize in the Hyundai Centerstage Competition Powered By The GRAMMY Amplifier. The video series following the three winners of this competition was produced by film and television production company Tiger House Films and directed by Jason Kent Carpenter.

The Barnaby Saints’ prize included the development and shooting of a professional music video by the directors of Walter Robot. Our film and television production crew followed Erich as he had his initial creative meetings with the directing duo and key players from Greenlight Media and Marketing as well as the GRAMMY office. Our behind the scenes footage capturing the process of making the music video gives insight into how a professional music video production is created from the ground, up.

The Barnaby Saints is a band based in Los Angeles CA. This group was started by singer/songwriter Erich Lennig and has been described as “a mixture of bluegrass, gospel, indie rock and layered harmonies. Their songs fuse old folk story telling with lush vocals, banjo, fiddle, dobro and swelling B3 organ to create a unique soundscape.”

The crew from our LA film and television production company enjoyed spending time with Erich and having the opportunity to capture his talent on camera. His vision and ability to create incredible music is what will ultimately seal his fate to remain a successful musician for a very long time in this industry.

About This Hyundai Centerstage / Grammy Video:

Phillip Magnus Hartley was the first winner and artist to be featured on camera in the Hyundai Centerstage video series produced by Film and TV production company Tiger House Films in conjunction with Greenlight Media and Marketing & The GRAMMY office. Our film crew created a video production around Phillip as he claimed his prize in Los Angeles CA, awarded to him by The Recording Academy.

Phillip’s prize included a mentorship and studio session with GRAMMY award winning music producer Tricky Stewart, and GRAMMY nominated music producer Soundz aka Kenneth Coby at their studio, Redzone Entertainment.

Through a series of interviews and organic moments caught on camera, our film and TV company was able to tell the story of Phillip’s journey as he experienced the opportunity of working with some of the best music producers in the entertainment industry as they mixed his single, Superhero.

Phillip Magnus Hartley is a self described “hybrid artist from Baltimore. He is influenced by all genres of music, drawing inspiration from Janelle Monae, Brandy, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Kenna. Hartley combines street style art with the fine arts, creating a unique style and a unique sound.”

Phillip’s incredibly humble personality and talent to create great music coupled with the experience and knowledge of the team at Redzone Entertainment gave this collaboration the spark it needed in order to create a polished, professional track ready to “compete at the highest level”.

About This Hyundai Centerstage / Grammy Video:

Gentlemen Hall is a 6 member band from Boston Massachussets and one of the winners  in the Hyundai Centerstage Competition Powered By The GRAMMY Amplifier. Film and TV production company Tiger House Films produced this episode of the three part Centerstage video series, following Gentlemen Hall as they claimed their prize from the GRAMMY Office. This prize included opening for  GRAMMY winning rock band Switchfoot, at their music festival, the Bro-am, which takes place annually in Encinitas, CA.

Our video crew captured moments between band mates as they rehearsed for the big festival, as well as their energy on stage during their live performances. Through a series of interview questions, we were able to gain insight into the mindset of the band members and what it means to them to win the Hyundai Centerstage competition and see their careers skyrocket. During the time that we were filming, Gentlemen Hall got word that they were being signed to Island Def Jam Records, which is a major label in the music industry.

They way Gentlemen Hall’s music can be described is that it is “a combination of the high-handed anthemic choruses of the Killers, the retro synth melodies of MGMT, and a dash of wildman flutist antics.” Gentleman Hall are currently finishing their full length album which is due out in 2013.

The crew on our Los Angeles Film and Television production company were honored to have the opportunity to film this band on it’s way to becoming big. We would like to thank Greenlight Media and Marketing as well as the GRAMMY office for making this production possible.

About This Daytime Television Production:

Tiger House Films filmed the Farmer’s Market segment of the daytime television production Vegi-Palooza as part of an ABC daytime television episode of The Chew. This episode’s special guest was celebrity chef Susan Feniger, owner of the Border Grill Restaurants in Santa Monica, Las Vegas and downtown Los Angeles.

Our television production crew met with producers from The Chew in downtown Santa Monica to film chef Susan Feniger as she takes the audience on a tour of the farmer’s market. Susan is known for starring in the cooking show Too Hot Tamales on the Food Network and opening several influential restaurants in Los Angeles. In 2013, she has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the California Restaurant Association.

This television production for The Chew was our fifth time working with the ABC show, having produced their Primetime ABC Fall Preview Special during the months before. Our video production crew shot with two cameras  in a “run and gun” style as we made our way through the crowded farmers market streets. Our goal was to capture the natural surroundings of the market environment as well as the variety in foods and unique mix of business owners selling their products.

Susan was incredibly accommodating to our tv production crew. Her generous and bubbly personality really allowed us to capture the moments that really connect with daytime television audiences, including her interaction with farmer’s market patrons who were eager to snap photos and speak with her about unique recipes.

After our tv production coverage wrapped, Susan treated the video crew to a meal at her Border Grill restaurant in Santa Monica. This extra bit of generosity shows why this chef has become as successful as she is today. We would like to thank The Chew as well as Susan Feniger for allowing us to produce and shoot a successful television production in Santa Monica.

This TV commercial production featuring Langers orange juice was created in collaboration with Michelle Langer at Langers Juice.  It was a wonderful professional experience working with Michelle and all the warm people at the Langers corporation.

This TV commercial production directed by Katherine Tran, intends to promote Langers Corporation’s national and web based marketing campaigns and showcase their brand in a more cinematic light.

The director and producer’s intention behind the visual aesthetics of this TV commercial production include using more directional lighting (as opposed to the traditional soft white diffused lighting) and to shoot it more as a narrative television commercial production rather than just a placed product advertisement. The story in this TV commercial was the central core in driving the message through to viewers and intended to leave them with a good feeling after watching it.

The Tiger House Films team was able to shoot this TV commercial in one day due greatly to stellar and precise planning on part of the scheduling breakdown. Our production team used all in‐house film and grip equipment owned by our film and television production company.

Los Angeles Film and Television production company Tiger House Films has always had the philosophy that solid film making comes from the discipline of old school, in-camera imagery through means of camera work, lighting, acting and special effects. The final product being the result of something tangible. Let us mention a famous example of where (in our humble opinion) VFX went wrong due to overuse: the Star Wars prequel series.

Though our views remain solidly unchanged on the subject, our recent work with the visual effects has opened our eyes to the possibility of building upon that discipline through the means of post production graphics. Working with a talented crew to create beautiful imagery and having the ability to tell a story is the most significant achievement a content creator can ask for yet when the project calls for it, there are true aesthetic benefits to creating some dynamic post production visuals to complete a project.

Our film and television production company’s most recent projects delving into the visual effects realm include; A photo and video media campaign for Hyundai shot digitally on green-screen, and branded content for major brands SK-II and National Geographic. All of these film and television productions were enhanced aesthetically by having a talented post production visual effects artist working with us every step of the way from pre-production drafting and on-set supervision to post.

We have collectively come to the realization that our film and television production company is now existing in the digital age where 4k RAW cameras are readily available on the consumer pricing level and the emergence of groundbreaking films create the sense that the possibilities for the future of VFX are bright and limitless.
