Tiger House Films partnered with Arena Club to produce a comedy commercial production titled “Believe” that brings mythical creatures to life. The comedic spot cleverly integrates beloved cryptid characters including the Tooth Fairy, Sasquatch, and Santa Claus to promote Arena Club’s online card trading platform: www.arenaclub.com.

This comedy commercial production spanned two full production days at a private residence location in Los Angeles. The creative concept behind “Believe” was to tap into the nostalgic magic of childhood myths while positioning Arena Club as the place where collectors can believe in finding their grail cards. By casting these legendary creatures as enthusiastic card traders, the spot adds a whimsical and memorable twist to the sports and trading card category.

Executing a comedy commercial production with multiple creature characters and practical effects required extensive pre-production planning and coordination. Our production team worked closely with the creative team to ensure each cryptid character felt authentic while maintaining the comedic tone throughout. From costume design to creature makeup effects, every detail was carefully crafted to bring these mythical beings into the modern world of online card trading.

The two-day shoot allowed our comedy commercial production crew adequate time to capture the comedic timing and character interactions that make “Believe” so entertaining. Filming at a private Los Angeles residence gave us the controlled environment needed to execute practical effects and coordinate the various creature performers while maintaining production efficiency.

This comedy commercial production represents Tiger House Films’ ability to blend humor, storytelling, and brand messaging in creative ways that resonate with audiences. The “Believe” campaign for Arena Club showcases our production team’s versatility in bringing imaginative concepts to life. In addition to this spot, out commercial production team also shot two Direct Response spots with influencers in the card trading space as an additional bonus to our production schedule.

Tiger House Films teamed with Plan C Agency to produce a series of P&G home product commercial spots for the celebration of Diwali which is the Hindu festival of lights. The creative production team at Tiger House Films filmed five separate spots for the P&G brands Secret, Always, Tide, Head & Shoulders and Bounty. Each of these separate spots starred a different South Asian influencer that introduced and used the products.

This unique series of spots was shot all in a single 12 hour production day, which took quite a bit of coordination and pre-production planning to put together in a smooth an efficient way. Our goal, along with PCA was to create a series of spots that reflected South Asian culture accurately. With the help of Director Neeraj Jain and Co-director Kate Li Dennis, the details of the script and content matched the needs of the Diwali theme.

When shooting a home product commercial, generally the audience has to see the product in action which gave our production team a plan to prepare multiple backups of  the products integrated into the production design of the spots. The culturally accurate costumes were styled by Ambika Sanjana who brought some very colorful and beautiful Diwali looks to life.

These commercial spots were shown on TV as well as in Times Square on Diwali.

Overall this project was very unique for out commercial production team and we are looking forward to working with the Plan C and P&G creative teams on future campaigns and hope to create some more socially impactful content with them in the near future!

The Tiger House Films media production team has once again worked with our clients at Shark Beauty on a series of beauty influencer brand video productions for their new Shark Glam haircare system. This series of branded content videos consisted of a mix of celebrity influencer content as well as tutorial style videos, all shot over the course of three production days in Los Angeles, CA.

When our production company was approached by Shark Beauty, the list of shots that needed to be captured was long and diverse. A mixture of robotic motion control shots, handheld and multi-cam were needed as integration content as well as the building of a standing sets and acquisition of a large single home practical location. Much of the media our production team captured was intercut with an influencer campaign starring Sofia Richie, three separate how-to videos were also edited that captured the different attachments included in the Shark Glam system for a multitude of hair styles and textures.

Conceptually, our beauty influencer brand video productions have a very social forward yet high end structure, the clients were looking to have beautiful cinematography mixed with the high energy feeling of UGC style videos which was a challenge due to the conflicting formats and aesthetics. Our team dedicated ourselves to achieving the clients needs and in the end, were successful in delivering a balanced, well shot series of projects.

We are looking forward to working with the Shark Beauty team on future campaigns and hope to create some more incredible content with them in the near future!

In our first project with the wonderful and collaborative team at Westin Anaheim Resort (Marriott), Tiger House Films produced a resort commercial production from creative concept, all the way through post production, VFX and final delivery.

When our production team was approached the team at Westin was looking for a spot that highlights the nightlife features of the hotel property, targeting a young adult crowd that may not know about the incredible features of the Westin Anaheim once the sun goes down. With seven different restaurants on property, beautiful suites and a fire lit pool area, our commercial culminated at the RISE rooftop lounge with panoramic views of Disney California Adventure Park and fireworks.

Conceptually, our commercial spot follows two couples who meet at the hotel to enjoy themselves for a night out while taking full advantage of the luxury amenities and gourmet dining the hotel has to offer. Our goal was to create something bold and sexy, a memorable spot to highlight the different aspects of a resort known mostly for it’s family atmosphere and close proximity to Disneyland.

The entire staff at the resort was incredibly accommodating to our entire production team, allowing us to stay several nights at the hotel with individual rooms due to the nature of the overnight shooting schedule. On top of their hospitality, they provided incredible food for our team and allowed us to stage in one of their ballrooms for the duration of the shoot. We can’t thank them enough for their kindness and generosity.

We are looking forward to working with The Westin Anaheim Resort on future campaigns and hope to create some more incredible memories with them in the near future!

In our latest collaboration with IWG, the Tiger House Films commercial production team came together to create a dynamic food commercial production for McDonald’s to celebrate the launch of their brand new McCrispy Strips. This series of commercial TVC spots hi-lights the dynamic of a Chinese – American family in a comedic, witty concept written by IWG’s Telly Wong and directed by the talented Patrick Tom. Our cast consists of amazing comedic actors and stars the incredible Tzi Ma as “Grandpa” who is known for many roles throughout his storied career including in blockbuster features such as Rush Hour and Mulan.

This particular culturally specific comedic style of commercial has become very popular for major brands in the past few years that look to target niche audiences with relatable branded content. Our shoot was produced in Los Angeles on a studio set over a period of two days. Our first day was to pre-light and set up culturally specific art design elements as well as set frames and on set color profiles. The second day was purely for the execution of two separate spots as well as social cuts shot separately on an iPhone.

Working with professional actors allows for some off the cuff moments that did end up making it into our final output in post production. Comedy in particular is a genre that is notoriously hard to nail down due to the subtle nature of comedic timing and tone. Our fantastic cast and professional food commercial production crew were able to work quickly and create magic within a very short period of time from pre-production through post.

We are looking forward to working with IWG and McDonald’s on future campaigns and hope to create some more memories with them in the near future!

In a dynamic collaboration with Plan C Agency, Tiger House Films produced three body wash commercial productions for the P&G brand Olay. This series of online and TV commercial spots was shot in Brentwood CA, on a private property with three distinct locations for Olay’s new Super Serum Body Wash. Our creative commercial production team was able to capture these spots within two production days, with the full production and post production spread out over the course of two months.

This fast paced set of spots starred Jamie Chung from Big Hero 6 as well as influencers Seerat Saini and Helen Wu Wang, was a mix of information on the product (vitamins, benefits) and witty dialogue crafted by Creative Director Kate Li Dennis and Emmy Award winning Director Bernie Su. Our commercial production team was faced with several challenges during production, including unexpected construction noise on one of our outdoor shooting days, however we were able to mitigate the issues smoothly with a professional team and had clean image and audio in post production.

Our team created this body wash commercial production on a tight timeline and executed within our budget range. Our cinematographer for this shoot was Allen Ho who is a long time collaborator of Bernie Su, our director. Allen brought a great soft beauty aesthetic to our project. Their choice of camera to capture our commercial spots was the Alexa 35 system which is a flagship cinema camera along with high quality prime lenses.

Earlier this year, In collaboration with Korean agency Border X, our award winning commercial production company created a series of three TVC spots highlighting the newest features in the world of automotive technology for Hyundai Mobis. Our Los Angeles production company was contacted from Seoul, South Korea to work on these spots that filmed in several locations in Downtown Los Angeles. The result of this production was the widespread submission of these spots to several branded award competitions and the winning of the Platinum Award at the Muse Awards.

The Muse awards Platinum award was the first of several awards for the Hyundai Mobis series of spots. As an award winning commercial production company, our team is always happy to add to our list of accolades over the 14 years of producing branded content for our amazing clients.

For this particular commercial project, our team utilized a volume stage with an LED wall to capture the driving scenes in these spots. We shot this automotive commercial production mainly inside of Orbital Studios  on their curved LED stage. This high tech workflow provided us the flexibility to light the subjects evenly and avoid permitting streets with police escorts and complicated side street lock-offs. Our director Matt Pollock and DP Matt Ryan teamed up to work in some humor while showcasing the different aspects of the vehicle technology.

This humor leaning strategy in combination with the futuristic technology of the vehicles themselves, proved to be a winning combination at the Muse Awards competition.

In another collaboration with Plan C Agency, the Tiger House Films produced the first of two social media commercial productions starring Ronny Chieng and Alice Lee for the P&G brand Old Spice. This first in a series of two commercial spots was shot in Beverly Hills CA, on a private property in the hills and features the new Fiji Deodorant from Old Spice. Our creative team utilized a home with a large bathroom, giving our production some leeway to shoot at different angles without having to compromise the framing and blocking of our actors. This filming location also had ample room for holding actors and a large backyard to set up our catering and logistics.

This comedic set of spots was a lighthearted play on the relationship between our two actors and their love for Old Spice products which they keep hidden from each other in order to maximize their own personal usage of the products. Both actors in this scenario come from a comedic background, which allowed for the director to utilize their natural acting talent to complete the spots.

Our team of social media commercial production experts has been producing branded content for over 14 years and it is always a pleasure to work on projects with talented cast and crew. Our cinematographer for this shoot was Martin Moody who has been a long time collaborator of Tiger House Films and we have shot many commercials with Director Clayton Au. Their choice of camera to capture our commercial spots was the Sony Venice system which is a flagship cinema camera along with high quality prime lenses.

In collaboration with Border X, the Tiger House Films commercial production team created a series of three fun spots highlighting the newest features in the world of automotive technology. Our Los Angeles production company was contacted by the Border X agency from Seoul, South Korea to work on these spots that filmed in several locations in Downtown Los Angeles.

We had several challenges that we overcame during this commercial including the need to re-create the concept vehicle in post production while shooting with two separate physical vehicles on set (one for the interior and one for the exterior). In order to make this workflow happen, our producing team set up a one day shoot in Seoul to capture the actual concept vehicles from Mobis, parts of the captured footage was used in the re-creation of features inside the cars through VFX.

Our team also utilized a volume stage with an LED wall to capture the driving scenes in these spots. We shot this automotive commercial production mainly inside of Orbital Studios  on their curved LED stage. This workflow provided us the flexibility to light the subjects evenly and avoid permitting streets with police escorts and lock-offs. Our director Matt Pollock and DP Matt Ryan teamed up to work in some humor while showcasing the different aspects of the vehicle technology.

The first commercial spot showcases the holographic HUD technology that is viewed on the windshield of the vehicle, the second spot showcases the “mood-centric” lighting features of the interior of the vehicle, and thirdly the final spot showcases the 90 degree wheel turn technology for parallel parking in tight spots. All have a magical element to make the spots fun and light.

In one of our several collaborations with Shark Ninja, the Tiger House Films production team created a new TV commercial production for the new Speedstyle Pro Flex Hair Dryer System. This commercial spot highlights the compact nature of the new Shark hair dryer while also integrating VFX to enhance the multiple features of the product in a fun, short and sweet TV spot for the brand.

This TV commercial production project called for several advanced filming techniques including motion control with a robotic arm for repeat motion shots in tight spaces as well as the need for VFX integration with live action. We utilized three talent with different hair types to showcase the versatility of the Spreedstyle Pro Flex, as well as it’s various attachments and accessories.

Our Los Angeles commercial production team was able to put this project together in a short period of time by utilizing our connections with gear houses in the Los Angeles area and talented local crew members. The production was shot over the course of two days in a private home in Calabasas. Our technical production team did an extensive amount of prep when it came to programming shots with the motion control robot and pre-lighting each of the scenes.

Our Director Of Photography Fiorella Occhipinti for this shoot is a specialist when it comes to beauty and fashion shoots and our team was fortunate to work with her crew to create a unique set of shots under challenging conditions. We also teamed up with ARRI cameras who were kind enough to give us an Alexa 35 rig to work with on this shoot.
