Our Old Spice Social Media Commercial Production w/ Ronny Chieng
In another collaboration with Plan C Agency, the Tiger House Films produced the first of two social media commercial productions starring Ronny Chieng and Alice Lee for the P&G brand Old Spice. This first in a series of two commercial spots was shot in Beverly Hills CA, on a private property in the hills and features the new Fiji Deodorant from Old Spice. Our creative team utilized a home with a large bathroom, giving our production some leeway to shoot at different angles without having to compromise the framing and blocking of our actors. This filming location also had ample room for holding actors and a large backyard to set up our catering and logistics.
This comedic set of spots was a lighthearted play on the relationship between our two actors and their love for Old Spice products which they keep hidden from each other in order to maximize their own personal usage of the products. Both actors in this scenario come from a comedic background, which allowed for the director to utilize their natural acting talent to complete the spots.
Our team of social media commercial production experts has been producing branded content for over 14 years and it is always a pleasure to work on projects with talented cast and crew. Our cinematographer for this shoot was Martin Moody who has been a long time collaborator of Tiger House Films and we have shot many commercials with Director Clayton Au. Their choice of camera to capture our commercial spots was the Sony Venice system which is a flagship cinema camera along with high quality prime lenses.
We look forward to working with Plan C Agency and Old Spice again in the near future.
