As a branded content agency / production company in Los Angeles, Tiger House Films was contacted by Cox Communications to cover the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for their online video platform. Our branded content production team consisted of two cameras and a sound person to get the needed coverage for their final video release. 

With celebrity talent walking the orange carpet, our branded video production had to be top notch. The client for this production, Contently, connected us with our host from Cox Communications, Maria Esposito very early on to go through the production game plan. As she prepared the questions, our brand video production team was able to position themselves in a prime location on the carpet and get the overall event coverage as well as the prime angles on talent.

Our unique flexibility as a branded content agency and production company in Los Angeles allows us to attract many diverse clients. An array of brands and agencies seek us out to produce projects from fashion to viral videos here in Los Angeles and across the country. Some of the unique talent we covered at the 2019 KCA’s included actors and actresses from Netflix shows, Nickelodeon, musical artists and influencers.

This Los Angeles brand video production with Wikipedia and Paramount Network’s American Woman marks our second production with NowThis Media . Shot at Nueuehouse in Hollywood, this production was nominated for a Shorty Award in 2018 amongst other very prestigious nominees. The Shorty Awards honor the best people and organizations on social media every year, culminating in a blockbuster ceremony in New York City.

Wikipedia and Paramount Network’s American Woman teamed up with NowThis to launch a female-driven edit-a-thon on Wikipedia, an effort in response to the revelation that 16% of editors on the open-source encyclopedia identify as women. This brand video production features the drama’s co-executive producer Kyle Richards, star actor Jennifer Bartels, and cast.

Our Los Angeles brand video production team at Tiger House Films worked with Director Alyssa Kurtzman and Producer Sylvie Krekow to shoot the event put on by NowThis to highlight women’s empowerment. With two Sony Fs7’s our director of photography was able to cover interviews intercut with b-roll of the event taking place, emphasizing coverage of the interactions between these hand picked women with fascinating backgrounds.

This Los Angeles brand video production was partnered with Paramount Network’s American Woman starring Alicia Silverstone, Mena Suvari, and Jennifer Bartels. This new half-hour series is inspired by the real-life upbringing of co-executive producer Kyle Richards (also interviewed in our brand video production). “American Woman” follows Bonnie (Silverstone) an unconventional mother struggling to raise her two daughters after leaving her husband amid the rise of second-wave feminism in the 70s.  With the help of her two best friends, Kathleen (Suvari) and Diana (Bartels), these three women each discover their own brand of independence in a glamorous and ever-changing world reluctant to give it.

Our LA / Las Vegas production company was approached by a Swiss TV Show, “26 Minutes” To shoot a series of locations in Las Vegas Nevada for a special episode of their comedic show.

Our production company often works as a creative agency as well as a nuts and bolts production company to help international productions succeed in the United States. This particular production paired us with a few of the most high profile comedians in French Switzerland including Vincent Kucholl and Vincent Veillon.

Shot in a multitude of locations over four days including the famed Bellagio Las Vegas, The Valley Of Fire, The Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas Blvd , a suite at Palms Place and a helicopter over the strip, our work was cut out for us. Having had the experience in permitting and obtaining permissions for difficult locations in the past, our team was able to provide a smooth experience for the international team.

“26 Minutes” is a humorous weekly French-language Swiss television program starring Vincent Kucholl and Vincent Veillon. The show started in 2015 on RTS Un, following their daily radio program, 120 seconds (120’’) from 2011 to 2014 on Couleur 3 (Radio télévision suisse).

The greatest part of working with this Swiss crew was the lightheartedness of their entire team during the course of production. Our Los Angeles / Las Vegas production company felt right at home while working in conjunction with the international team that came overseas to Las Vegas. The humor that helped make the two Vincents so successful in their home country was a sustaining factor during the somewhat tight and intricate scheduling of each scene / location.

This program will air in Switzerland at the FC Scion 2018 Gala and other parts of Europe In March of 2018. We look forward to seeing the final results of our adventure together. We hope to work with the Swiss team from Production 360 again in the very near future.

About Our International Fashion Commercial Production BTS Video:

When our commercial production company was approached to produce an international fashion commercial to be broadcast on television for India’s largest online brand Yepme, the clients and agency asked for a behind the scenes brand video to cover the excitement of our fashion commercial production from an “on the go” perspective. Having shot this commercial in Los Angeles over two days with over 16 models and extras in multiple locations, our behind the scenes team was able to capture a large amount of video and still photo material for the promotion of the project.

The structure of the video revolved around interviews with key talent intercut with behind the camera shots of the production as it happened in real time, all set to an upbeat track. As an added bonus to having a print photographer on set with us, our behind the scenes videography team had to maneuver between takes to capture the fast paced action happening on set.

This international fashion commercial was a great challenge for the Tiger House Films team, our ability to deliver the beautiful imagery and fit it within the final concept required a great deal of communication and precise execution on the part of our company. Working with international clients has been a large part or our past work and we are always capable of bridging cultural barriers to come together and create an incredible final product.

Commercial productions such as this Yepme campaign allow our team to work at our peak capability as a top Los Angeles production company and we are all looking forward to more collaborations from the Indian market in the near future.

The 2013 Tiger House Films Los Angeles Film and Television Production Company Reel contains a compilation of projects produced by our company. These projects include Narrative Films, Television Productions, Music Videos, Commercials and Live Performances and Web Videos. Every one of these projects was unique and presented different challenges but in the end our results were amazing and the process was incredibly enjoyable for everyone on the film crew.

Jason Kent Carpenter’s film “Agent 6” has won the Golden Ace Award at the Las Vegas Film Festival! This is the eighth film festival award for Agent 6 which has been on it’s festival run since March of 2011. Agent 6 screened on Saturday, July 21 at 6:10 pm  in the Las Vegas Hilton Theater to a packed audience. the red carpet was great along with all the informative panels that were hosted by filmmakers from around the world.

A quote from “Agent 6” filmmaker Jason Kent Carpenter: “The atmosphere in Las Vegas is one that I have never experienced before. There seems to be an electricity in the air here and I was very fortunate to have my film screen in such an exciting and unique city.”

Jason Kent Carpenter’s action short film “Agent 6” has won the Best Action Short Award at FirstGlance Film Festival Hollywood. The film produced and directed by Carpenter has won a total of seven film festival awards thus far on the festival circuit.

Our experience at FirstGlance was phenomenal, Bill Ostroff the festival director is a very nice person. As soon as we walked on to the lot at Raleigh Studios the atmosphere felt right for a film screening. Agent 6 was screened in a private theater on the lot with many film fans in attendance.

Whenever filmmakers are surrounded by people who love films as much as they do, it gives the festival a certain appeal and that particular atmosphere was present during our screening. Independent filmmakers are still the lifeblood of this business and it was great to bond over our mutual appreciation for this art form during the event.

Tiger House Films is proud to be a part of FirstGlance Film Festival and would like to thank them for running a great festival as well as screening Agent 6 at the Chaplin theater inside Raleigh Studios. The event was a very enjoyable experience for the entire Tiger House Team and thank you for our seventh film festival award!

On opening night of the festival there was a red carpet for filmmakers in front of the Arclight Cinerama Dome across from the Los Angeles Film School. Filmmaker Jason Kent Carpenter was interviewed by Minglemedia TV and other media outlets alongside one of the incredibly talented stars of the film, Katie Wee.

The experience at Hollyshorts was a mixed bag of emotions. During the screening, the projectionist in the booth began to play “Agent 6” from a point in the middle of the film. Luckily our team had a backup blu-ray with us at the time and the film was re-started from the beginning. Although the incident was somewhat embarrassing, it may just have been the reason it caught the attention of the distributor due to projection technicalities causing a bit of a stir.

Overall the festival was a fantastic experience and our team would not have traded it for the world. Thank you Hollyshorts for giving us some great memories to carry with us into the future.

Jacqueline Howard, Editor of the Hermosa Beach Patch  interviewed film director Jason Kent Carpenter for a human interest article. The two met on a sunny day off of Pier Avenue, the main street leading to the shore in Hermosa Beach where Carpenter grew up. The relaxed atmosphere in the South Bay area was one that Carpenter recalled about the days before finding his path toward a career in the entertainment industry.

After having founded the Los Angeles production company Tiger House Films in 2010, Jason has gone on to produce and direct numerous award winning films, music videos, and commercials within a short period of time, garnering the respect of entertainment industry peers and artists alike. Director Jason Kent Carpenter was informed that the film had won four major awards at the Los Angeles New Wave International Film Festival and was to have a special screening with other award winners in their respective categories.

The awards won by “Agent 6” at this film festival include First Place, Best Directing, Best Stunts and Best Costume Design all in the Short Film category. Winning these awards adds to the growing list of festival recognition that “Agent 6” has received on it’s festival run this year.
