Our Work On The Grey Goose | Behind The Bar | Online Video Series Production:
This online video series production in Los Angeles was produced by Justin Bell Productions for Grey Goose Vodka and directed / DP’d by Tiger House Films’ founder Jason Kent Carpenter. The Grey Goose team brought on two of their professional mixologists Marie Meyers and Joe McCanta to create unique cocktails with their premium Grey Goose Vodka.
Our commercial production team was able to come together and shoot over a single day in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles. Our gear consisted of two Arri Alexa cinema cameras, high quality cinema lenses and LED lighting for the interior studio style setups. Grey Goose wanted two distinctly different looks to separate the making of each of the unique cocktails that were featured in this online video series production.
A challenge we had to face during the creation of this series, was the need to work with existing daylight as the location dictated that we shoot into a corner of the kitchen with a window throughout the day. As we were unable to flag off the existing daylight, we needed to pivot our settings as the sun moved through the morning and afternoon to night. Luckily we had a great team and were able to collaborate to create and efficient set and capture the coverage needed to complete the edits.
We are very fortunate to have Justin Bell Productions and Grey Goose as clients, our collaborations have been very successful and we very lucky to work with such professionals in the commercial production industry. Our Los Angeles production team hopes to continue our relationship with this brand for many more campaigns in the future.
