Our Linktree Passion Fund Brand Video Campaign:
Our brand video campaign with Bolster Agency in Australia brought together several brands. Linktree in conjunction with Square created a worldwide competition for what they call the Passion Fund. One of the faces of the Passion Fund and the main talent in our brand video production was Karamo. Karamo is the culture expert on Netflix’s beloved Queer Eye reboot, where he dispenses advice on loving yourself, caring for your mental health and feeling good in your own skin.
This brand video campaign was based on Karamo stepping up as one of the judges for the Passion Fund, an initiative from Linktree and Square where online creators can apply for the chance to receive financial support to help turn their passion into a full-time gig. The Passion Fund will disburse a total of USD$250,000 among 25 to 40 creators, artists, side hustlers and small businesses. It’s money that could turn dreams into realities.
This production showcases the Passion Fund being launched to further fuel the growth of what’s been called ‘the passion economy.’ Unlike the gig economy, where work may be self-directed but is still controlled by a third party, the passion economy gives creators complete agency over what they do. It’s been facilitated by platforms like Linktree, which allow creators to monetize content on their terms.
