Our Work On The Atomic Heart Video Game Campaign W/ Jensen Ackles
Our creative content production company in Los Angeles has collaborated for a second time with Focus Entertainment, a Parisian video game developer, and their director Dessil Basmadjian, to produce a video game promo for their newest title Atomic Heart. This project stars Jensen Ackles, a star of Supernatural and The Boys, representing the Atomic Heart protagonist. In the trailer, Ackles shows a young female wizard representing a Hogwarts student, how best to kill robots, utilizing brutal melee weaponry along with some of the special attacks that Atomic Heart players will have at their disposal.
This video game commercial production was shot over the course of three days and one prep day. Our creative team utilized partners to build the custom weapons and props utilized in the spot. The ATS team , best known for their work on American Ninja Warrior, provided the custom weapon fabrication using the examples from the game and a stunt team that came on set to rig all the different special effects we needed in order to give the spot some live action pop.
Jensen was a wonderful main actor who came on set and nailed every take. Our stunt double Chase Garland came with some incredible athleticism when performing stunts with dangerous weapons in hand. Our wizard girl Emma Hebda was an incredible talent with very expressive delivery. Our entire production team was able to power through a complex shoot that ended up garnering a lot of viral attention from the video game community.
Our creative content production company in Los Angeles hopes to partner with Focus Entertainment again in the near future for another one of their video game releases!
