Our Work On The Old Spice Commercial Production In New York w/ Ronny Chieng:
In our commercial production company’s second collaboration with Old Spice and PCA, we had the pleasure of shooting a commercial with actor and comedian Ronny Chieng in New York City. This particular spot was a part of the “Men Have Skin Too” Series of online and broadcast Old Spice commercials that will release in 2023 as part of the Asian demographic niche for the brand.
This Old Spice campaign was a part of two spots we produced in New York City, both with the same cast and crew and within the span of a few weeks. New York being the dynamic city that it is, had all the production resources necessary for us to carry out our project smoothly from camera houses to GE and transportation.
Our team was able to utilize on the ground resources in NYC and produce the project remotely from Los Angeles until we set up scouts of locations at which time the producer, director (Clayton Tony Au) and cinematographer (Martin Moody) were all able to fly out early and get the lay of the land / plan the shoot from a logistics perspective. The Tiger House Films team has 13 years of experience executing project from the ground up therefore our ability to produce anywhere in the US and worldwide is a great asset to our clients.
Our main talent Ronny Chieng is a Malaysian comedian and actor. He is currently a senior correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. He is also the creator and star of the ABC sitcom Ronny Chieng: International Student. It was a real pleasure working with him on this project and hope to produce more creative content with him in front of the camera in the future.
We are very fortunate to have Old Spice / PCA as clients, our history with the latter has spanned over 8 years. Our Los Angeles production team hopes to continue our relationship with this brand for many campaigns to come.
