Our P&G x Diwali | Home Product Commercial Spots
Tiger House Films teamed with Plan C Agency to produce a series of P&G home product commercial spots for the celebration of Diwali which is the Hindu festival of lights. The creative production team at Tiger House Films filmed five separate spots for the P&G brands Secret, Always, Tide, Head & Shoulders and Bounty. Each of these separate spots starred a different South Asian influencer that introduced and used the products.
This unique series of spots was shot all in a single 12 hour production day, which took quite a bit of coordination and pre-production planning to put together in a smooth an efficient way. Our goal, along with PCA was to create a series of spots that reflected South Asian culture accurately. With the help of Director Neeraj Jain and Co-director Kate Li Dennis, the details of the script and content matched the needs of the Diwali theme.
When shooting a home product commercial, generally the audience has to see the product in action which gave our production team a plan to prepare multiple backups of the products integrated into the production design of the spots. The culturally accurate costumes were styled by Ambika Sanjana who brought some very colorful and beautiful Diwali looks to life.
These commercial spots were shown on TV as well as in Times Square on Diwali.
Overall this project was very unique for out commercial production team and we are looking forward to working with the Plan C and P&G creative teams on future campaigns and hope to create some more socially impactful content with them in the near future!
